What is the Training Resource Center?
ISEEK’s Training Resource Center is a unique training communication resource for Minnesota’s career counselors and businesses to find or request short-term training. It also helps training providers in public colleges and universities quickly respond to training needs.

What's New?
Recent updates and activities:
- Just added to ISEEK's program search - find programs by start dates, available schedules, and unique program attributes such as the option to receive credit for prior learning or flexible program scheduling.
- Find Short-term training (programs or courses that last one year or less) on ISEEK. You can now use ISEEK's education search tool to find short-term training in Minnesota. You can now also search for short-term training from the education plan section of any regional site.
- Free online training (263KB,.pdf) and training funding options (544KB,.pdf) information is now available.
- We updated the Counselor Training Network on the Career Professional section. This networking tool allows career professionals to easily e-mail other counselors, update their contact information, and track their training requests.
- We have expanded our audiences to include a section for Minnesota businesses. We will conduct further needs assessments to ensure that we are helping supporting business' needs for training, hiring, and improving their businesses.
- We created a customized web page for Wilder Foundation employees who have or may be experiencing a lay-off. We can work with any DEED-sponsored employment and training agency to create a similar customized web page for other dislocated worker projects. We have listened to the career counselors' feedback about issues related to the ISEEK website. We are helping the ISEEK content team evaluate the search features and display of short-term training options and Workforce Investment Act information.
Upcoming activities:
- A Training Plan Workbook will be added in ISEEK's My Account for Trade Assistance Act participants.
- Adult Basic Education schools and courses will be added to ISEEK's Education Search tool.
- ARRA energy training resources will be added on ISEEK's Energy Education page.
