Keyword Search Tips

• Use multiple, specific words. Your results will contain as many of these words as possible.
  • medical dental minneapolis vs. medical

• Use quotation marks to get results that contain the exact phrase(s) you want to find. Separate multiple phrases by commas.
  • "state university"
  • "vocational school", "radiologic technology"

  Using multiple phrases in this manner would return all documents with the phrase "vocational school" and all documents with the phrase "radiologic technology".

• Use + to ensure that multiple words or phrases appear in the document. (NOTE: Use + instead of the boolean AND.)
  • vocational + radiologic
  • "vocational school" + "radiologic technology"

  Using + will ensure that you get results where all the words or phrases joined by + appear in the document, but not necessarily next to each other.
