Minnesota Educational Assistance for War Orphans
Qualified war orphans may receive financial assistance each year from the Department of Veterans Affairs to be used for tuition, books, supplies, board and room.
Minnesota Educational Assistance for War Veterans
Provides educational assistance for Minnesota war veterans who attend an approved educational institution in Minnesota. Veterans may qualify for a one-time stipend.
Minnesota National Guard Benefits
Members of the Minnesota National Guard may be eligible to receive specific veterans benefits, and may be eligible for federal and state grants from the federal government and the state of Minnesota.

Troops to Teachers
U.S. Department of Education and Department of Defense program assists eligible
military personnel transition to a new career as public school teachers in schools serving students from low-income families. Financial as well as referral and placement assistance is provided.
