The Minnesota Learning Innovations Council and iSeek Solutions were hosts to the Minnesota e-Learning Summit 2008 which took place on May 21st and 22nd at Normandale Community College in Bloomington. Over 300 attended the 44 workshops and half day tutorials that focused on learning games and technology.
The Summit's theme: "Imagination to Application" highlighted innovation as well as best
practices in e-Learning for K-20 audiences. Attendees included educators, administrators, technologists, librarians, and policy makers from across the state.
The Summit's engaging keynote speaker was Dr. Michael Wesch, a renown cultural anthropologist from Kansas State University. His presentation, “Human Futures for Technology and Education" and his workshops, were well received by the audience.
