The Information Technology Specialist I Program is for individuals who would like to demonstrate their expertise in a particular area of Information Technology. Students will select and attend one technical course in their area of interest. They will also receive corresponding exam preparation materials as well as a voucher for the certification exam. This three-step process will provide students with the skills necessary to perform specific Information Technology functions. Students can select a course that corresponds to certifications such as: Microsoft Technology Specialist, Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP, Linux+, Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA). (Note: Not all courses have corresponding exam preparation materials and/or certification exams.)
