| The Facilities Service Maintenance Operator Certificate is designed to give individuals skills and training as a Facilities Service Operator. It is designed to train you in the understanding of: drawings and specifications for commercial structures; environmental health and safety rules and regulations; training in the operation, servicing, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and boilers systems; electrical and telecommunications systems; and training in the use of an oxyacetylene torch for minor cutting and welding. This program also prepares the students for certification testing in four areas; Boilers- MN Special, CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) Licensing, CPO (Certified Pool Operator) and HAZWOPER. Laptops provided for fall and winter terms. | |
