State administered services

Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Vocational Rehabilitation Services are for people with disabilities who need services to prepare for work, or to find and keep a job.

MN State Services for the Blind
The State Services for the Blind (SSB) provides programs and services for Minnesotans of any age who have a vision loss that creates a barrier to their vocational or personal independence.

Extended Employment
The extended employment program matches trained and supported workers to the business needs of local employers.

Ticket to Work
The Ticket to Work Program offers people receiving SSDI/SSI more choices and opportunities in getting the services they need to go to work.

Job Accommodation Network (JAN)
JAN facilitates the employment and retention of workers with disabilities by providing job accommodations, self-employment and small business opportunities. JAN educates employers about their responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act and addresses issues pertaining to accessibility.

Minnesota Employment Center (MEC)
MEC works with deaf or hard of hearing clients of all employment backgrounds to find the best job match. Services include finding appropriate jobs, writing resumes and cover letters, filling out applications, preparing for interviews, contracting potential employers, and on-the-job support.
