Students who complete the Advanced Business Intelligence (BI) Professional Program will earn two Microsoft Certified Application Specialist Certifications in the areas of Excel and Access. They will also gain foundational skills in Object Orient Analysis & Design and Transact SQL, which are languages that are useful for writing queries for pulling data out of databases for business users to analyze and make business decisions. But this program will go much deeper by providing students the skills to SQL development, as well as utilize Microsoft¿s most popular BI tool, Reporting Services. No BI position would be complete without having solid skills in requirements gathering and business analysis which is covered in the Business Analysis Essentials course as well as getting up to speed on SharePoint which is becoming a popular collaboration platform in most companies. Like many other programs, managers in corporations today are not just looking for people with good technical skills, they are looking for professionals with well rounded business skills as well.
