The Information Technology Specialist II Program is for individuals who would like to demonstrate their expertise in one or more particular areas of Information Technology. Students will select and attend two technical courses in their area(s) of interest. They will also receive corresponding exam preparation materials as well as two vouchers for the related certification exams. This three-step process will provide students with the skills necessary to perform specific Information Technology functions. Students can select two courses that correspond to certifications such as: Microsoft Technology Specialist, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP, Linux+, Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA). (Note: Not all courses have corresponding exam preparation materials and/or certification exams.)
