IT Service Management certification helps distinguish those who have a deep understanding of best practice for ITSM and are capable of implementing these concepts to some degree immediately. Certification is also the foundation for developing a career path in IT Service Management. Because within ITIL no process stands alone, students may select up to 9 days of education from courses below which will map to up to 3 exams. After completion of this program and passing the exams, students will have earned 9 credits and 3 certifications leading up to the ITIL Expert Certification. A total of 15 credits and up to 5 exams will be needed prior to taking this next step.
