Law Clerks

Law clerks research, write, and read legal arguments. They summarize information for lawyers or judges.

Law clerks who work for lawyers are usually doing an internship before they become lawyers. Some law clerks do almost everything a lawyer does, and in certain circumstances, even in court.

Law Clerks are in the Law, Public Safety, and Security career cluster and the Legal Services pathway.
