Hairstylists and Cosmetologists

Hairstylists and cosmetologists wash, cut, color, perm, and style customers' hair. Cosmetologists also apply makeup.

Hairstylists talk to customers and help them figure out the best look for their hair. Cosmetologists also work with hair in addition to making recommendations about makeup and skin treatments.
