Licensing / Certification
In Minnesota, radiologic technologists must be licensed to take x-rays. Applicants must pass the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Limited Scope X-ray Operator Exam.
Those that passed the Minnesota X-ray Operator Exam prior to January 1, 2008 are grandfathered in and are not required to take this exam.
