The license information below is specific to the state of Minnesota.
Description
License Requirements:
-Graduate of an approved program in athletic training.
-Current certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.

License Fees:
Athletic Trainer Annual registration - $100
Athletic Trainer Application - $50
Athletic Trainer Temporary Permit - $50
Athletic Trainer Certification - $25
Athletic Trainer Late Fee - $15
Athletic Trainer Temporary Registration - $100
Period:
Annual based on fiscal year.
Determination:
2 1/2 months.
Other Information:
Primary physicians must establish evaluation and treatment protocols to be updated annually at renewal time.
